美国《BuzzFeed》近日刊出〈在美国媒体上可能见不到的曼德拉语录〉（Nelson Mandela Quotes You
Probably Won’t See In The U.S. Media），摘录了曼德拉一些左倾甚至反美的言论。现译成中文，以使更多读者了解一个真实的曼德拉。
一，对巴勒斯坦建国：
曼德拉：「联合国对种族隔离持强硬的反对立场，而且在过去这些年来，国际社会就此建立了共识，帮助了结束这个不平等的制度。但是我们非常明白，如果没有巴勒斯坦人的自由，我们的自由就没有实现。」
1. On a Palestinian state:
“The UN took a strong stand against apartheid; and over the years, an international consensus was built, which helped to bring an end to this iniquitous system. But we know too well that our freedom is incomplete without the freedom of the Palestinians.”
二，对美国准备打伊拉克（2002年接受《新闻周刊》采访）：
曼德拉：「如果观察那些情形，你会得出这样的结论：美国的姿态是对世界和平的威胁。」
2. On the U.S. preparing to invade Iraq in a 2002 interview with Newsweek:
“If you look at those matters, you will come to the conclusion that the attitude of the United States of America is a threat to world peace.”
三，对他的长期支持者利比亚独裁者格达费：
曼德拉：「支持兄弟领袖（格达费）是我们的责任……尤其是关于那些（对利比亚的）经济制裁，它不仅是打击格达费，也是打击利比亚人民——我们非洲人的兄弟姐妹。」
3. Mandela on Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi, his longtime supporter:
“It is our duty to give support to the brother leader … especially in regards to the sanctions which are not hitting just him, they are hitting the ordinary masses of the people … our African brothers and sisters.”
四，对卡斯特罗和古巴革命：

4. Mandela on Castro and the Cuban revolution:

We admire the sacrifices of the Cuban people in maintaining their independence and sovereignty in the face of the vicious imperialist-or questrated campaign to destroy the impressive gain made in the Cuban Revolution. … Long live the Cuban Revolution. Long live comrade Fidel Castro.”
五，对美国领衔的伊拉克战争：
曼德拉：「（美国布什先生）全部想要的就是伊拉克的石油。」
5. On the U.S. war with Iraq:
“All that (Mr. Bush) wants is Iraqi oil.”
六，对以色列：
曼德拉：「以色列应该撤出他们1967年从阿拉伯国家（战争）中赢得的所有土地，尤其是，以色列应该从戈兰高地、南黎巴嫩、约旦河西岸全部撤出。」
6. On Israel:
“Israel should withdraw from all the areas which it won from the Arabs in 1967, and in particular Israel should withdraw completely from the Golan Heights, from south Lebanon and from the West Bank.”
七，对美国打伊拉克战争：
曼德拉：「如果说这个世界上有一个国家犯下了无法形容的暴行，这个国家就是美国。他们根本不在乎人命。」
7. On the U.S. war with Iraq:
“If there is a country that has committed unspeakable atrocities in the world, it is the United States of America. They don’t care for human beings.”
